Hayley Jenkins is a composer and co-curator of Dot DasH Music from Darlington, Durham. Hayley began her musical career as a flautist and later learnt clarinet and saxophone. She studied music at York St John University for her undergraduate and master’s degrees, majoring in composition. Hayley is a Senior Lecturer of Music at the University of Sunderland and visiting lecturer at York St John University whilst studying for her PhD in Composition under Dr Gareth Williams at the Reid School of Music, University of Edinburgh. In addition to her academic work, Hayley is also Musical Director of Darlington Clarinet Ensemble and Darlington Concert Band.
