Damiano Pascarelli is the winner of the Dutch Rogier van Otterloo Award 2019, awarded yearly to the most promising young composer/arranger based in the Netherlands. He has written arrangements for artists such as Lalah Hathaway, Kurt Elling, Dee Dee Bridgewater, George Benson, Chaka Khan, Lizz Wright, Take 6 and many others.
Damiano regularly collaborates with the Dutch Metropole Orchestra and its chief conductor Jules Buckley. He studied jazz composition in Amsterdam and Los Angeles with, among others, Vince Mendoza and Bob Mintzer.
